Your first flight, on Bangrak Beach
We teach e-foiling and jetsurfing on Bangrak Beach, right in front of the Secret Garden Beach Resort. Efoil Samui started almost four years ago, out of a love for surfing and the lack of waves in Thailand. Most of our guests have never stood on a foil before: our instructors start you in the shallow, calm water of the bay and stay with you until you lift off. We have boards enough for the whole family or a big group, and as the official WayDoo dealer on Koh Samui we also run a shop where you can see the boards up close or take one home.

Before your first ride
- When is the best time for e-foiling on Koh Samui?
- Pretty much all year. An e-foil needs no wind, so there is no wind season to plan around.
- Do I need any experience?
- No. Most of our guests are on a foil for the first time. You can start sitting or lying on the board and stand up when you feel ready.
- Can kids ride too?
- Yes. Kids ride with a helmet and a life vest, and if your child is not ready to ride alone yet, we take them for a ride while you train.
- What is the difference between an e-foil and a jetsurf?
- An e-foil is an electric board on a hydrofoil: it lifts you above the water and runs almost silently. A jetsurf is a motorised board that stays on the water and is all about speed.
- Do you sell gift vouchers?
- Yes, for 30 or 60 minutes. Send us a message and we prepare one.
- Can I buy an e-foil from you?
- Yes. We are the official WayDoo dealer on Koh Samui: in our shop you can see the boards, try one with us and take one home.
- Is there a minimum age or a weight limit?
- Kids can ride the e-foil from 5 years and the jetsurf from 10. The weight limit is 100 kg on both.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, anytime. We don't take a deposit.
- Can I pay by card?
- Yes, we take cash and card.
- Can I ride without an instructor?
- Yes, if you already ride. It costs the same as a session: the instructor comes free.
