Araruama Kite School (AKS) has taught kitesurfing on the shallow lagoon waters of Praia da Pontinha for about 15 years, training more than 1,500 IKO-certified students. The school was ranked the second-best kitesurf school in Brazil at a national competition held in Fortaleza.
