Founded in 2002, Bbel Kite Center is Jericoacoara's original kitesurfing school, established by its founder together with IKO instructor Marcos Gonzalez. The school teaches kitesurfing and wing foiling at the flat-water lagoons of Guriú and Mangue Seco and played a role in legitimizing the sport within the Jericoacoara National Park.
