About Duotone Pro Center Tenerife
Duotone Pro Center Tenerife is a multi-sport watersports center in El Médano teaching kitesurfing, kitefoiling, windsurfing, wing foiling, surfing, SUP and eFoiling. As an official IKO and VDWS affiliated center, it operates with Duotone, Fanatic, LIFT Foils and Foil Drive equipment and issues IKO certification for courses of six hours or more. Do I get a certificate after my course?
Students who complete a course of six hours or more receive an IKO certificate signed by IKO-qualified instructors.
Should I bring my own wetsuit and harness?
Wetsuits and harnesses are available to rent, but bringing your own is recommended if you already have one you're used to.
What safety measures are in place?
Instructors are first-aid qualified, a defibrillator is kept on site, and lifeguards are stationed around 100 meters away.
Is the spot suitable for beginners?
Yes — beginners learn in the flat water at Granadilla Harbour, while more experienced riders head to the wave spots at South Bay and Cabezo.
What are your opening hours?
The center is open every day of the year, with summer hours from 10:00 to 18:00 and winter hours from 10:00 to 17:00.
Is rental equipment insured against damage?
Rental equipment is not insured by default. Riders can cover damage through their own insurance, pay for repairs out of pocket, or purchase an annual damage protection plan for €39 that covers rental gear at any center worldwide.
