About Escuela de Surf Santander (ESS)
Escuela de Surf Santander has been teaching surfing since 1999, when it was founded by Juan Palazuelos at Playa de Valdearenas in Liencres. A second location opened at Playa del Sardinero in 2004. The school is recognized by the Spanish Surf Federation and the Cantabrian Surf Federation, and many of its current instructors began as students there.
