GoKite has been a kitesurfing school and Duotone and ION equipment dealer since 1998, with locations at Lagoa da Conceição in Florianópolis and in Taíba, Ceará. Lessons at Lagoa da Conceição are taught with current-year Duotone equipment and safety boat support.

What is the best time to kite in Florianópolis?
Conditions are good nearly all year. Summer (November to February) brings warm northeast winds at 27-38°C and suits beginners best. Winter (June to October) brings strong south wind up to over 35 knots at 10-18°C with waves over 2 meters, suited to kitewave.
Where can you kite in Florianópolis?
Lagoa da Conceição works in all wind directions. For north/northeast winds, Novo Campeche, Barra da Lagoa and Moçambique suit kitewave, while Jurerê and Praia da Daniela suit flat-water wing foiling. For south/southeast winds, Riozinho do Campeche offers side-shore kitewave, alongside Joaquina, Praia Mole and Moçambique.
