Can anyone learn wingfoil?
Yes — wingfoil is accessible to almost anyone. Basic swimming ability and physical fitness help, but instructors work with students of all ages and skill levels, including complete beginners with no prior water sports experience.
Do I need my own equipment?
No personal gear is required — all equipment is provided. Bringing your own wetsuit and water shoes is recommended for comfort but not mandatory.
How long are my classes valid for?
Wingfoil classes remain valid for one year from the date of purchase.
What happens if there is no wind during my course?
You can try wakefoiling to reinforce board control, reschedule your session for a day with better wind, or cancel and receive a refund for any unused classes.
How many classes will I need?
It varies with natural ability, equipment, weather, and practice. Some students feel comfortable after a few intensive sessions, while others prefer more gradual lessons.
Can I just teach myself wingfoil?
Self-teaching is possible, but it often wastes time and money through unsuitable gear, poor conditions, and figuring out movements alone — professional classes are recommended.
Do I need prior water sports experience?
No. Instructors teach complete beginners from scratch.
Why does the school use a support boat during lessons?
A rescue boat is legally required for sailing classes and allows closer supervision, quicker corrections, and more time in the water.
