About Islares Surf Camp
Islares Surf Camp was founded by Fernando "Fertxu," who began surfing at Playa de Arenillas as a child in the 1980s and has run the camp ever since. Based in the small Cantabrian town of Islares, it was one of the pioneering surf schools in the area. The camp is run by a young team of officially certified instructors who teach surf courses, coaching programs and multi-activity camps for all ages, alongside equipment rental, board repair and a surf shop.
