About Kiteboarding Xperience
Kiteboarding Xperience was founded in 2017 by Aurore and Achraf in Achraf's native city of Essaouira, Morocco. The school teaches kitesurfing, surfing and wingfoil in a traditional Moroccan setting, with a team of IKO and VDWS certified instructors.
- Instructing team has over 15 years of combined teaching experience
- Head coach is a professional Duotone strapless rider
- Jet-ski safety supervision introduced in 2023

What should I bring to my lesson?
Bring a swimsuit, cap and sunscreen; a life vest is provided.
Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes, you should be able to swim 50 metres and be comfortable putting your head underwater.
Can my partner and I take a lesson together if we have different levels?
Yes, semi-private lessons work well even when partners have different experience levels. A dedicated instructor is also available for advanced riders wanting to work on jumps or freestyle.
What payment methods are accepted?
Cash, in euros or Moroccan dirhams, and bank cards.
How do I get to the spot?
The school picks students up from their accommodation. Renting a car is recommended for those staying further away or wanting to explore the area.
How long does it take to kitesurf independently?
Most riders become independent after around five two-hour sessions.
