About Kitesurf Adventure
Kitesurf Adventure is a VDWS-licensed kite school based in Malcesine on Lake Garda, Italy, teaching kitesurfing, kitefoiling and wingfoiling with boat-based instruction and radio-helmet coaching. Courses run daily from April to October at the Campione spot, with lessons taught in German, English, Italian, French and Spanish.

When do the kite courses start?
Kite courses start daily at 11:30 AM from April to October.
What should beginners book?
Beginners are recommended to book a course of at least three days, ideally four or five.
How many students are there per instructor?
Up to four people are taught per instructor and boat, using two kite setups.
What happens if there is no wind?
A 100% wind guarantee applies, with options to reschedule or receive credit.
Do I need a wetsuit?
A wetsuit is required; rental costs €10 per day.
What is the wind like at Lake Garda?
Two thermal winds take turns: the Peler blows from the north each morning, reliably from June to September, while the Ora blows from the south most afternoons from spring through autumn, typically at 3 to 5 Beaufort at Campione.
Are there any hazards to be aware of?
A strong north wind called the Bali can blow for two to three days at 5 to 8 Beaufort and is behind most accidents on the lake. Strong currents also occur near Brenzone, Malcesine and Navene, especially in the late afternoon.
