Where is KiteTripping located?
The school is based in Essaouira, Morocco. The exact meeting point and directions are confirmed with every booking, and the team is flexible about where to meet guests.
When is the best time to visit Essaouira for water sports?
Essaouira works year-round. Wind sports (kitesurfing and wingfoil) are best from March to October, when the trade winds blow almost daily; surfing is most consistent from autumn to spring; yoga, horse riding and quad biking run all year.
Do I need experience to book a lesson?
No experience is needed. Most guests are complete beginners, and the school coaches every level, from a first wave or kite session to advanced technique.
Is equipment included in lessons?
Yes. Every lesson includes all the equipment needed (boards, kites, wings, wetsuits, helmets and mats), plus transport to the spot and photos of the session.
What happens if there is no wind or the conditions are bad?
If conditions are not right, the session is rescheduled or an alternative activity is offered, such as yoga, horse riding or quad biking.
