About Kyuka Surfclub
Founded in 2023 by Swiss brothers Sascha and Timo Imhof and opened in September 2024, Kyuka Surfclub is a family-run surf retreat in Lajares, Fuerteventura, between El Cotillo and Corralejo. Its name comes from the Japanese word for "holiday," reflecting a philosophy built around community and personal wellbeing alongside surf lessons, yoga, and fitness. Yes. Most guests arrive as total beginners and are riding waves confidently by the end of the week.
How long is a surf lesson?
Lessons run about four hours door-to-door, including pickup, warm-up, beach theory, and time in the water.

A minimum stay of five nights is recommended, with full weeks from Saturday to Saturday preferred.

Check-in starts around 15:00 and check-out is at 11:00.
Is airport transfer included?
Stays of more than four nights booked through the website include a free airport transfer, about 30 minutes from Fuerteventura Airport (FUE).

Full board includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday to Thursday, a Saturday welcome dinner, and Sunday brunch; Friday dinner out in Corralejo is paid separately.
