About Leagues Ahead Diving
Leagues Ahead Diving is a PADI 5-Star Dive Centre based in Playa del Inglés, Gran Canaria, teaching scuba diving in small groups with a maximum of four divers per instructor. The centre runs the full range of PADI courses, from Discover Scuba Diving through to Divemaster internships, using new equipment from Cressi. Courses include complimentary hotel transfers for guests staying in the south of the island.

Can you dive all year round in Gran Canaria?
Yes. Gran Canaria has no fixed diving season, so diving is possible all year round.
Do I need scuba diving insurance?
All certified divers are covered by accident insurance that includes treatment in a decompression chamber if needed.
Do I need a medical certificate to dive?
Not always. Divers fill out a medical questionnaire, and only those who answer yes to a question on it need a doctor's certificate.
How long do I need to wait after diving before flying?
A surface interval of 12 hours is required after one dive, and 18 hours after two dives, before flying.
Do you collect divers from their hotel?
Yes, prices include complimentary hotel transfers for guests staying in the south of Gran Canaria.
Do you accept card payments?
