About Loredo Surf School
Loredo Surf School traces its roots to Meco, a pioneer of Spanish surfing who first rode Loredo's waves in 1963, and was later founded by his son Mario as one of the first surf schools in Cantabria. Lessons are built around four core values — fun, ocean knowledge, safety and respect — taught in small groups by instructors certified by Spain's Ministry of Education.
