About Nomad Kite Events
Nomad Kite Events is a kitesurfing school based inside KBC Kiteboarding Club in El Gouna on Egypt's Red Sea coast. Led by Gogo and the team, the school has over 20 years of kitesurfing experience and has trained more than 5,000 students. Alongside standard lessons, the school runs week-long kite safari expeditions to Red Sea islands such as Tawila, Geisum and Ashrafi.

Do I need prior experience to start kitesurfing?
No prior experience in watersports or flying a kite is necessary to begin lessons.
What should I bring to my first lesson?
A swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses with a strap; a rash guard or wetsuit can be provided on request.
How quickly will I be able to ride the board?
Most students are riding the board within 2 to 4 days of intensive training, though ongoing practice is needed to master the skill.
Can children take kitesurfing lessons?
Yes, children can be taught using smaller kites and shorter lines after a personalized readiness assessment.
Can non-kitesurfers join the kite safari?
Yes, non-riders can join the kite safari and enjoy island walks, swimming, snorkeling or wakeboarding while the group rides.
How is safety handled during lessons?
Certified instructors teach in designated safe areas and cover quick-release systems and self-rescue from the very first lesson.
Is Wi-Fi available during the kite safari?
Most safari yachts have Starlink satellite internet available for an extra charge, though signal can be weak on some islands.
Can dietary needs be accommodated on the kite safari?
Yes, guests with allergies or special diets can let the crew know in advance so the chef can prepare a suitable meal plan.
