How do kitesurf lessons work?
Lessons run over multiple days: day one covers kite handling, safety systems and ground techniques, day two introduces water entry, body dragging and board fundamentals, and day three focuses on riding and more advanced skills. It usually takes about 10-12 hours for a rider to become independent.
What equipment is used during lessons?
All equipment is included: kite, bar, board, helmet and an impact vest, using well-known brands, and all kites are new.
When is the best time for kitesurfing in Las Terrenas?
Kitesurfing high season in Las Terrenas typically runs from December to March and June to September.
What is the cancellation policy?
Lessons cancelled due to weather are rescheduled or fully refunded if new dates cannot be arranged. No-shows are not refunded, and cancellations should be made at least one day in advance.

What should I bring to my lesson?
Arrive about 30 minutes before your scheduled time with a hat, waterproof sunblock, sunglasses, water, snacks, cash, and board shorts or a swimsuit; a 1mm shorty wetsuit is optional. You will sign an indemnity form and can pay by credit card or cash.
Can I use rental equipment to teach others?
Rental equipment may not be used for teaching other people, and renters are responsible for the cost of any repairs needed after their rental period.
