About Swiss Kitesurf Organisation Brasil
Swiss Kitesurf Organisation Brasil is a mobile kitesurf school operating since 2017 across Cumbuco, Cauípe, Taiba and Paracuru in Ceará, Brazil. It teaches beginners using modern training methods designed to get riders on the board within three to four days, with a maximum of two students per instructor. What is the minimum age to take a course?
Instruction is offered from age 14.
What happens if there isn't enough wind during my course?
If the practical part of a course cannot take place due to too much wind (over 25 knots) or too little wind (under 12 knots), the course is postponed to a later date or replaced with a voucher for the missed session.
What languages do the instructors speak?
Guided trips and instruction are offered in German, English and Portuguese.
Is insurance included in the price?
Accident and liability insurance is the participant's own responsibility; the school recommends VDWS kite insurance.
What is the cancellation policy?
Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to three weeks before arrival, with a 20% fee between 21 and 8 days before, a 50% fee between 7 and 1 days before, and a 100% charge for no-shows.
Do I need to be able to swim?
Students should be able to swim at least 15 minutes without aids.
What safety rules apply at the station?
Riders keep at least 50 m from the beach and other kiters, jumping within 50 m of the beach is not allowed, and riding outside the 800 m safety area around the station is at the rider's own risk.
