Founded in 1998 by French naval engineer Mathieu, Tarifa Max was one of the first kitesurfing schools in the region. The school is now owned and run by Giulia, who first discovered kitesurfing at Tarifa Max as a student in 2018 before becoming head instructor and owner in 2020. Its multilingual team teaches using IKO methodology, combining innovative teaching with respect for nature.
