About YourTime kite & surf Almería
YourTime Kite & Surf Almería grew from an idea two friends had for making better use of their leisure time into a full water-sports academy on the Almería coast. The school teaches kitesurfing, wingfoil, and surf using IKO methodology, and pairs its lessons with personal training and injury-rehabilitation programs. It also markets its own surfskate brand, ZS, used both for surf technique work and dry-land wingfoil training.

Is kitesurfing suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. The 3-class initiation course teaches kitesurfing from scratch, while perfectionment, strapless and hydrofoil lessons are reserved for students who already have kite or board experience.
What safety measures are used during lessons?
Every session includes a pre-flight equipment check, a quick-release safety system, and an assessment of the spot, environment and activity before getting on the water.
Is a wetsuit provided for lessons?
A full wetsuit with a thermal layer is included for most of the year; in summer (June to August) only a lycra top is provided, with full wetsuit rental available for €10 per day.
