About Acero Surf Eskola
Acero Surf Eskola is a family-run surf school on Barinatxe beach (La Salvaje) in Getxo-Sopela, founded by brothers Eneko, Kepa and Iker Acero with the support of their father Goio. Between them the family brings over 30 years of surfing experience and international competition on five continents. Alongside its regular courses on the Basque coast, the school also runs a surf clinic package in the Maldives.

How many students are in a group lesson?
Group lessons have a maximum of 6 students per instructor.
What is included in the course price?
Course prices include the surfboard, wetsuit and other accessories, the instructor, and liability and accident insurance.
Are private lessons available?
Yes, private one-to-one lessons are available in addition to the group courses.
Do you offer surf trips abroad?
Yes, the school runs a surf clinic package in the Maldives (Thulusdhoo) with daily video coaching, guidance and airport transfers. A 70% deposit is required one month before the travel date.
What should I bring to a lesson?
Bring a swimsuit, a towel, and sun cream.
What is the payment and cancellation policy?
A 50% deposit is due at booking, with the remaining 50% paid three days before the course starts. Cancellations receive a full refund up to 10 days before the start date, an 80% refund between 10 and 3 days before, and no refund within 48 hours of the start.
