About Peña Txuri Surf Eskola
Founded in 1989 on Sopela's Arrietara beach, Peña Txuri Surf Eskola set out to give the local community the chance to learn to surf, and has grown into one of the longest-running surf schools on the Basque coast. Beyond standard adult and children's classes, the school runs adapted surf lessons for people with disabilities and advanced training for competitive surfers.
