About Aquaholics Zanzibar
Founded as a surf school in 2014 by Brad and Steffi, Aquaholics has grown into a watersports center on Paje Beach, Zanzibar, with a second location in Dongwe. The school teaches kitesurfing, surfing, wingfoiling, and stand-up paddleboarding, and also runs yoga classes and a weeklong Surf & Yoga Retreat.

What is the best time of year to kitesurf in Paje?
The main kiteboarding season runs from mid-December to mid-March and from early June to late September, with January, February, June, July, and August the most consistent months.
How long does it take to learn to kitesurf?
Most riders need about 9 to 12 hours in a semi-private group course, or 4 to 6 hours in private lessons, to ride in both directions.
Are there sharks at the spot?
The surf and kite spots are sheltered by a barrier reef, and large sharks are rarely seen near it.
Is insurance included with lessons?
Lessons include basic insurance, but equipment rentals such as SUP, kite gear, or fiberglass boards are not insured.
What is the cancellation policy?
