
Escuela Cántabra de Surf was founded in 1991 on Somo beach in Cantabria by David "Capi" García, a Spanish and Cantabrian surf champion, making it Spain's first surf school. With more than three decades of experience, the school teaches surfing, skateboarding, stand-up paddle, and bodyboarding to all ages and levels. It operates within Ribamontán al Mar, Spain's first surf reserve, and keeps a maximum ratio of six students per instructor.
