About Estilo de Vida

Estilo de Vida traces its roots to Pura Vida, the first kitesurfing school in the area, founded in 1995 by Leif Leriche. Leif later joined with Stan Mignon, Kinito and Luis Daniel Bautista to form Estilo de Vida, which became the first IKO-certified school to run instructor courses in Las Terrenas. Based in Portillo, 5km from Las Terrenas, the school has operated under its current ownership since April 2023.
