About Estilo de Vida
Estilo de Vida traces its roots to Pura Vida, the first kitesurfing school in the area, founded in 1995 by Leif Leriche. Leif later joined with Stan Mignon, Kinito and Luis Daniel Bautista to form Estilo de Vida, which became the first IKO-certified school to run instructor courses in Las Terrenas. Based in Portillo, 5km from Las Terrenas, the school has operated under its current ownership since April 2023.

Weather-related cancellations receive a full or prorated refund. Personal cancellations don't receive a refund, but a voucher with no expiry is issued, which can be used on a future visit or transferred to someone else.

Yes, but you need to show proof of experience, complete a one-hour private lesson, or be supervised if you can already ride upwind and transition.
