About Ferrol Surf School
Ferrol Surf School is an official surf school affiliated with the Galician Surf Federation (Federación Gallega de Surf), founded in 2009 and based in Aldea Vilar, Cobas (A Coruña), Galicia. How long do the classes last?
Classes last approximately two hours, plus extra time for transport to the beach and preparation.
What is included in a class?
Every class includes liability insurance, a wetsuit, a surfboard and all the equipment a student needs.
Can I bring my own equipment?
Yes, students are welcome to use their own board and wetsuit, although the school provides everything needed.
What should I bring to class?
Sunscreen, flip-flops and a towel to change afterwards.
Which beach will the class be held at?
The school checks the weather forecast before each session and chooses whichever nearby beach best matches the group's level and the day's conditions.
