What is included in a surf lesson at Friends & Family?
Every class includes a surfboard, wetsuit and mandatory insurance.
What are the school's opening hours?
The school is open Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 7:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am to 1:00pm.
Is there a private lesson option?
Yes, private lessons are available for one person or for two people together.
What is the cancellation policy?
Refunds are issued with at least 48 hours' notice, or if the school cancels a class due to weather or staff illness.
Are winter lessons available?
Yes, weekend winter courses run on Saturdays and Sundays with monthly packages of one or two classes per week.
Do minors need parental permission to take lessons?
Yes, a permission form signed by a parent, guardian or legal tutor is required for any minor taking part in lessons.
Which beach will my lesson take place at?
Lessons run at Ferrol (Cobas) or Valdovino beach, whichever has the best sea and wind conditions for the day and the student's level. The exact time and beach are confirmed by WhatsApp the day before.
