About H2O Extreme
H2O Extreme is Kenya's first kitesurfing school, founded in 2003 by Boris Polo at Galu Beach, Diani, on Kenya's South Coast. It became Kenya's first IKO-affiliated kitesurf center in 2006, and since 2022/2023 has been led by Dutch kitesurfer and instructor Eveline van Dijk, who has taught more than 1,200 students worldwide. Yes, its 2-hour taster course introduces complete beginners to kite control and water safety before progressing into the IKO course levels.
Is there a minimum age for lessons?
For its dedicated Kids Kitesurfing Course, students must be at least 10 years old and weigh at least 30 kg; no separate minimum age is stated for adult courses.
Does the school offer multi-day courses or packages?
Yes, its IKO Level 1+2 and Level 1+2+3 courses run over 3 and 5 days respectively, and equipment rental is available in multi-day packages up to 7 days.
Does the school offer private one-on-one lessons?
