About Horizon Escuela de Surf
Horizon Escuela de Surf is a family-run surf school in Salinas, Asturias, with over 10 years of teaching experience on the Cantabrian coast. Its instructors are brothers Pelayo, Nel, and Ángel Suárez, all Spanish Surf Federation-certified coaches and former national and European champions. The school runs surf camps and courses for every level, from complete beginners to advanced surfers, in small, personalized groups.

What should I bring to a surf lesson?
The school provides all the necessary equipment — students only need to bring swimwear, flip-flops, and a towel.
Do I need to know how to swim?
It's recommended but not strictly required for beginners, since lessons take place in safe zones under instructor supervision.
How are the classes structured?
Classes are personalized and run in small groups, organized by age and skill level.
Can I attend the surf camp alone?
Yes, students can attend alone or accompanied — a good social atmosphere develops among participants.
