About Island Kite School
Island Kite School teaches kitesurfing, surfing and wing foiling at Ponta Preta Beach on Sal, Cape Verde, in front of the Riu Hotel. It was founded by local instructors who have taught on Sal since 2018, with Gilson Rodrigues opening the school in 2020. The school offers lessons from beginner level through freestyle and strapless freestyle kitesurfing, alongside surf and wing foil courses, and runs guided kite trips around the island.
