About Kukulkite
Kukulkite is a kitesurfing school based on Holbox Island, Mexico, run by a team of more than six qualified instructors from different nationalities who together teach in six languages. The school operates from two spots: Las Nubes near town for beginners, and Punta Mosquito, reached by boat, for more experienced riders.

What is the minimum age to learn kitesurfing?
Children around 7 years old can start learning safely.
Is equipment included in the lessons?
Yes. Students only need to bring a swimsuit, sunscreen, water and sunglasses — the school provides the kite, board, wetsuit if needed, harness, helmet and life vest.
What's the difference between group, semi-private and private lessons?
Group courses take up to 4 students sharing two kites with one instructor, semi-private courses pair two students with one instructor, and private courses offer one-to-one instruction with the fastest progress.
What happens if there's no wind during a scheduled lesson?
The school either reschedules the lesson or refunds the unused hours; students only pay for the hours actually taught.
Can I book a course if I'm traveling alone?
Yes. Solo travelers are grouped with others of a similar level when possible, or can choose a semi-private or private lesson instead.
What safety measures are in place during lessons?
All students wear a life jacket and helmet and stay in radio contact with their instructor, using well-maintained, regularly renewed equipment.
Does the school meet local safety and licensing requirements?
