About Lucky's Surf Camp
Lucky's Surf Camp was founded by Lucky, Sri Lanka's National Surfing Champion and three-time Red Bull Ride My Wave winner, who was born and raised in Weligama's fishing village and caught his first wave at age 11. The camp teaches surfing and holds daily yoga sessions in Weligama, with lessons taught by ISA-certified coaches. It combines surf coaching with on-site accommodation, a rooftop café, and communal meals for guests staying at the camp.

Surf is available year-round. December to April is the driest and most consistent period, while May to October is quieter with fewer crowds; April and October often bring the best swells.
