About UW Kite Surf
UW Kite Surf is a freelance surf and kitesurf teaching team based in Mui Ne, Vietnam, founded by To Phan. The team members began as beach boys working for other kite schools in Mui Ne, were trained by foreign instructors, and later became instructors themselves before To Phan brought them together to form UW Kite Surf. The team also shapes and sells handmade custom surfboards under the UW Boards brand and repairs surfboards and kite equipment.

How long does it take before I can kitesurf alone?
Most students need around 5 to 20 hours of lessons before they can ride on their own.
Is kitesurfing suitable for beginners year-round in Mui Ne?
Kitesurfing is possible all year in Mui Ne, though some days have no wind. The south wind season (May to September) is lighter and suits beginners, while the north wind season (October to April) brings stronger, steadier wind suitable for all levels.
